The easiest way to avoid negative feedback is to stay on the bench. Remove yourself from the action. Don’t put yourself out there.

Making a move is risky. People might not like it or even voice their disapproval. Then again, you may also miss the opportunity to step up to the plate. Without stepping up to the plate, you deprive yourself of hitting a home run and you deprive others of the chance to celebrate with you.

Mistakes, failure, and opposition are never enjoyable. It works against the core of who we are as humans. It is however, necessary for personal and professional growth.

Trial and error. Sets and reps. Try, fail, and repeat. The discipline of striking out is a building block of growth. When we optimize for approval, we may be depriving the world of what it needs most.

Haters have a place and a voice, don’t let them rob you of yours.
